Museum Work

The Science of Spying exhibit and more

Erector Sets Inc. gets called on from other exhibit companies to collaborate on some interesting museum projects. We were excited when USA Inc. hired us to work on “The Science of Spying”. This exhibit was a traveling show in conjunction with the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis and the Science Museum of London. We built interactive walls and display cabinets with an added challenge in mind, that the pieces had to be reassembled in each new city.  Erector Sets was able to utilize our tight tolerances, attention to detail and the plans were all in metric!

USA Inc. utilized our services again when it came time to build exhibits for Louisiana’s Sci-Port Science Center. The museum is an interactive children’s museum, so you know the exhibits need to be built like tanks. One of the projects we built was the “Tool Cart” which housed safety glasses and hardhats for the kids.

Philadelphia’s Please Touch Museum was opened at its new location this month. In-Depth Inc. hired Erector Sets to help with the fabrication of some of the new exhibits. We built a variety of projects from handicap-friendly ramps, kindergarten learning rooms to railway station facades.
